Challenge

WeWander is a travel marketplace bringing together tours shaped by independent operators and local teams. The product design needed to make those different offers easy to compare while keeping the judgment and personality behind each route visible.

Approach

The Wander Agency connected travel marketplace UX/UI design, website design and visual identity around one shared hierarchy: place, dates, group size, price and itinerary. The people behind each offer stay close to the booking decision.

Bold type, a near-black canvas and a sharp lime accent give varied photography one recognizable home across desktop, mobile and social content.

A clear frame for independently made tours

A short experience-led film establishes the world around the marketplace: people, place and the memories that make independently led tours worth choosing.

Compare the trip. Meet the guide.

A consistent product structure makes the choices legible; photography and visible authorship preserve the character of each tour.

Mobile UX for tour discovery, comparison and gifting

The mobile system moves from the marketplace proposition to the full tour catalog and a gift-certificate purchase without changing its hierarchy or visual language. For a travel platform with multiple operators, this shared structure lets travellers review different offers using the same practical questions: where, when, with whom and what is included.

These are clean captures of the current live product, presented in restrained device frames rather than reconstructed screens.

The guide makes the place specific

Two art-directed studies explore how the product idea could move into campaign photography: compact groups, real terrain and a guide already in motion.

They are supporting case-study concepts, not original delivered or launched campaign assets.

The identity now moves through a working marketplace

We designed WeWander’s marketplace experience and visual system to make independently led tours easier to discover, compare and trust. This current homepage scroll shows that shared hierarchy at work across destinations, tour formats, guides, booking reassurance and gifting—without flattening the character of each journey.

Useful before the click

Produced destination posts use the same direct white typography, lime actions and practical editorial point of view as the marketplace.

The Dolomites and Iceland examples show one recognizable system working across daylight, night photography and very different travel questions.

One marketplace, many distinct tours

A small set of shared rules holds the experience together while the tours and operators retain their own voice.

  1. 01

    Comparable tour pages

Dates, group format, price and itinerary placed in a dependable order.

  2. 02

    Visible operator authorship

Profiles and contact context remain part of the choice, not a footnote to the listing.

  3. 03

    Mobile discovery and gifting

A consistent path from homepage and catalog to a gift-certificate purchase.

  4. 04

    Connected social identity

A recognizable editorial language before and after a traveler reaches the marketplace.
